The Schneider-Kreuznach 4.5/90 Pyrite lens apochromatically corrected high-performance lens designed for extreme-resolution macro imaging, industrial line-scan tasks, and high-end close-up photography

The Schneider-Kreuznach 90mm f4.5 Pyrite lens can be fitted to the ACTUS system as well as various other camera systems. (requires WHF-3 lens plate for Cambo RPM & RBC Systems, requires ACB-V38 lens plate for Cambo ACTUS Systems)

It is optimised for a specific magnification in order to achieve the best results at close-up applications. Very low chromatic aberrations plus low geometric errors provide a very high image quality. It has excellent performance from 1:2 up to infinity.

The Schneider-Kreuznach Pyrite vibration insensitive lenses are designed to be used with large area and line scan sensors under harsh conditions as in many industrial applications. Very low chromatic aberrations plus low geometric distortion provide a very high image quality from edge to edge at a wide magnifications range. The V38-Mount fits to the modular Unifoc system with its large variety of accessories, including focusing mounts, extension tubes and camera adapters.

Please note: The V38 lenses do not have a built-in focusing mechanism. Therefore, a separate focusing mount and adapter is required to mount the lens on cameras. Depending on the application, additional extension tubes may be required.

This lens was formally knows as Apo-Componon 4.5/90
