An AutoColumn copy stand capable of meeting the ever-increasing demand for fast, efficient large format digitization.
For large, flat and thin objects such as maps, newspapers and drawings, the included metal cover board can be mounted onto the base, allowing for careful and secure positioning with magnets.
The copy stand utilizes a large, super-stable metal base. At 1300x1000mm, it supports objects larger than A0. Combined with the Phase One iXH 250MP, this means 400ppi can be easily and conveniently achieved while meeting the strictest FADGI, Metamorfoze and ISO 19264 digitization guidelines.
The new base comes with a set of heavy-duty, lockable castor wheels and an RPS-175 arm extension, providing accurate and stable camera positioning and support. A utility shelf underneath the baseboard provides a convenient solution for placing the controller box and other tools and accessories.
The new standard of AutoColumn copy stands, the Phase One RPS 2300XXL, is designed with motorised AutoColumn technology to accomodate for efficient
work with the iXH 150MP and iXG 100MP camera systems and Capture One CH.
The Phase One RPS 2300XXL features high precision camera positioning, and a geared movable camera arm. A camera leveling head secures precise and quick
positioning.
An LED lightbox baseboard insert is available for transparency scanning.
Wall mount options are available for the 2300XL column.
AutoPPI
Phase One AutoPPI is an automated camera and column positioning feature designed primarily for cultural heritage, archive, and reprographic digitisation. When paired with motorised Phase One AutoColumn copy stand and Capture One CH software, it allows operators to instantly set a precise capture resolution
The AutoPPI feature will autofocus on the target and once the focus is achieved, the camera will move automatically on the copy stand to reach the desired resolution. Finally, the camera will autofocus on the target.
Prevision positioning with RPS-180 levelling head
The RPS-180 attaches to the frontplate of the RPS column and enables levelling of the camera in 3 directions. It has adjustment of the horizontal plane of 5 degrees and adjustment of the vertical plane of 5 degrees. It also has rotational adjustment.
It features an (ARCA compatible) dove tail and comes with a 1/4" quick release plate. Dove tail equipped cameras, including Phase One iXH cameras, attach directly to the RPS-180 without the need for a QR plate.
Phase One RPS-175 Crossarm Extension for RPS copy stand system
RPS-175 extends the arm of the RPS copy stands and columns by 180mm.
By inserting the extension the reach over the base board will extend. This may be useful in cases where smaller cameras are being used or in case of extreme heights with large objects. The original front plate is retained and used.
