The prolite scan light boxes are designed primarily as a transmitted light source for digital image capturing tasks. They can be used universally in combination with all kinds of chip or scanning cameras and backs. Electronic ballasts for 40 kilohertz high frequency operation are standard equipment.

An outstanding feature is the extremely high illumination of 50,000 lux. A low-noise vibration-free fan cooling system provides for a cool viewing area, even after long, continuous operation. Fluorescents of superior color rendition quality are standard equipment. Additional features are operating hours timer, scales on both sides of the viewing area and wall mount fittings.

Comes with an operating hours counter. Tubes age and that is why an operating hours timer is important.
