Vertical movement is motorised and is controlled with a wired remote control unit with extended speed and direction controls.

RPS-240 is the tabletop version of the motorised Cambo RPS copy stand. It uses the same durable motor and maintenance free belt drive as the RPS-200/250. The geared cross arm features an integrated leveller. This facilitates absolute parallelity between camera and object.

Like every other motorised Cambo copy stand, the RPS-240 comes with two user adjustable end-stops. These protect valuable objects at the table and the camera. When one of the switches is activated, motion immediately stalls. The vibration absorber inside the column helps to eliminate camera shake within a fraction of a second.

Height is adjusted by hand controller. The speed can be regulated from fast upto settings in extremely small increments. The latter to enable fine focusing. RPS-245 is the version that comes with an additional Smart Controller. This may be added to the RPS-240 if needed.
