Mamiya Leaf Credo


Leaf were the first to create the first commercially available digital backs in 1991. Their latest offering, the Mamiya Leaf Credo, is another major milestone and is the newest and most advanced digital back created.

With the options of full framed 645 CCD sensors, mid sized (1.3 lens factor) CCD senors, or mid sized CMOS sensor, the Credo range have been developed to produce accurate colour, stunning detail and sharpness, shadows and highlights with detail, and pleasing skin tones. Leaf have always been know for their great range of colour profiles that allow users to select the perfect result for their shot, the Credo is no exception making it the perfect digital back for a wide variety of photography .

The Credo is available in 4 different models :

  • Credo 80 (80 megapixels)
  • Credo 60 (60 megapixels)
  • Credo 50 (50 megapixels)
  • Credo 40 (40 megapixels)

Credo digital backs are available for 645DF+ / 645DF camera, Hasselblad V series, Hasselblad H series and Contax 645AF. The Credo 80 is also available for the Leaf AFi and Sinar Hy6 camera.

Mamiya Leaf Credo 50


Introducing the all new Leaf Credo 50 – The first Leaf digital medium format back to feature a CMOS sensor. The Credo 50 offers outstanding image quality, through the entire ISO range from 100-6400, providing never before seen flexibility in all lighting conditions. This, coupled with a fast capture rate and an impressive 14 stops of dynamic range maintain Leaf’s reputation for beautiful images with unsurpassed detail, colour and tonality. The Credo 50 is the perfect medium format imaging tool for the decerning photographer.

At the heart of the Credo 50 is a high resolution, 50 megapixel CMOS sensor which measures 44mm x 33mm. The CMOS sensor provides higher than normal ISO as well as a vastly improved live-view performance. The Credo 50 captures frames as quickly as 1.2 frames per second and will take long exposures of up to 1 hour. These amazing capabilities will set your creativity free while choosing lighting, locations and subject matter.

Once captured, your images are displayed on a beautiful, high resolution 3.2” touch screen. Here, you’ll enjoy an elegent user interface where you’re able to inspect, navigate and edit your images. The bright and clear screen is easily viewed no matter what type of ambient light you’re working in, from studio to bright, outside daylight. All functions and settings of the Credo 50 are accessed through the touch screen too, which has a simple and easy to navigate menu system.

The Leaf Credo 50 features latest technology Firewire 800, and USB 3.0 ports as well as compatibility with UDMA Compact Flash technologies. This makes file transfer fast and pain free for when time is of the essence.
